To address regional capacity deficiencies, GCW provided the design for this new sanitary sewer line that services approximately 18,000 acres. The design significantly reduced the required improvements for the existing interceptors by routing a majority of the flow to the large diameter Paradise-Whitney interceptor. This project required three crossings under an existing waterline to mitigate any impacts during design and construction. GCW incorporated innovative techniques for open-cut and trenchless construction to minimize disruptions and avoid expensive bypass pumping.
