This $62 million roadway and flood control improvement project spanned more than 13 years. GCW provided the construction management and administration services for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Casino Drive. This roadway portion included ADA compliance, underground utilities, and multi-modal facilities for bicycles and pedestrians. Extensive coordination was required with multiple jurisdictions and key stakeholders. Several challenges were addressed during construction when the original contractor declared bankruptcy and a new contractor had to be brought up to speed quickly.
